AI avatar video ads: a person presents your product

A person you make once opens the ad talking to camera, in the voice you pick. Then your own product photos show what they are talking about. In Terrads, a person you make is called a Character, and any Character can talk.

  • A person from a photo you have permission to use, or one you describe
  • 21 voices: female and male, young to old, American, British, Swedish-English and Australian
  • Each line read naturally, in one of 10 tones such as Curious, Confident, Excited or Urgent, or as you describe it
  • The talking is priced by the second; you see the price before anything is made

How it works

  1. 01

    Make a person

Upload a photo, or describe someone and keep one of 4 portraits. Give them a voice. You can do it from the ad's own setup.

  2. 02

    Pick “A person presents it”

Choose the style and your person. Terrads writes what they say, and you can rewrite any line and set how it is said.

  3. 03

    Approve the price

The plan shows each scene and the price, the talking included. Nothing is made or charged until you approve.

How each line is said

Every line the person speaks has its own delivery: Natural reads it straight, a preset changes the tone, or you describe one in a few words. Some of the presets:

Grab attention
Curious, Surprised, Frustrated
Make the case
Confident, Warm, Serious
Energy
Excited, Playful
Close
Urgent

Image ads with the same person

With “A person says it”, the person you made fronts a still ad: their photo, your product's own photo, one line in your brand voice and a button. Each ad gets one of these layouts, and you can switch it to another for free.

Frequently asked questions

Is the person in the ad real?

Only if you make them from a real photo, your own included. A person you describe is AI-generated and is no one in particular. A person made from a photo is that face, so you confirm it is you or that you have their permission before they can appear in an ad. Once confirmed, that person works in any ad your team makes, with the voice you gave them.

Does the whole ad show the person?

No, and that is on purpose. The person speaks the opening, then your real product photos carry the proof and the ad closes on your button, so what the viewer sees of the product is the product.

Can I make image ads with my character?

Yes: pick the “A person says it” style for an image ad. The person speaks for your brand, never as a customer, so a line that reads as a review, a rating or their own experience is refused. The ad is signed with your brand name, or “Name, for your brand” when it shows a real person who agreed to it. Each ad comes in every size you pick, and changing its layout later is free. You can also translate it into any language written in Latin letters: the line and the button change on every size, and the translated line follows the same rule.

Which voices can the person have?

21 voices, female and male, from young to old, with American, British, Swedish-English and Australian accents. Each has a sample to hear before you pick, and the picker filters them by gender.

How is it priced?

Like any video ad, plus the talking, which is priced by the second of speech. The plan shows the full price before you approve, and changing how a line is said later re-records it at a price you see first.
